She is the Head of Department and Associate Prefessor at the Post Graduation Department of Computer Science at S.N.D.T. Women's University, Juhu Campus, Mumbai, and has been an academician for close to 20 years. Dr. Chaware has experimented with numerous ideas in curriculum, student affairs, faculty recruitment and faculty management. She also acts as a counselor, mentor and guide for the students at the institute.
